Prior to joining Donovan & Yee in 2008,
Matthew was an associate at Gibney, Anthony & Flaherty for seven
years, where his practice was primarily trademark enforcement related,
including litigation, with an emphasis on anticounterfeiting. Matthew
has experience in civil litigation including trademark infringement,
trademark dilution, trade dress and copyright matters.
Matthew also counsels clients on trademark clearance, maintenance
and enforcement programs, including recordation with U.S. Customs
and issues specific to the Internet.
A 1999 graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, Matthew
is admitted to practice in New York State as well as the U.S. District
Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, District
of Colorado and Eastern District of Wisconsin.
