| Andrea Calvaruso joined Donovan
& Yee in 2000, after practicing civil litigation for a number
of years with a major Manhattan law firm. Andrea has extensive experience
in litigating trademark, trade dress, unfair competition, and copyright
cases, including actions in U.S. Federal District Court, inter partes
proceedings before the TTAB, and ICANN Domain Dispute proceedings.
In addition to her litigation practice, Andrea negotiates and drafts
intellectual property-related agreements, and counsels clients in
intellectual property matters including evaluation of ownership
interests, licensing issues, promoting and enforcing property rights,
search evaluations, U.S. copyright filings, and domestic and international
trademark filings.
Andrea graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University College of
Law in 1996, where she was Associate Notes and Comments Editor of
Syracuse Law Review and a Teaching Assistant in the Legal Research
and Writing Program.
Andrea is admitted to practice in New York State as well as the U.S.
District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
